"Absolutely the only thing good about this place is the view. Extremely dated I mean everything in the rooms , the hardest bed and pillows we've ever had to sleep on. The noise is unbelievable from the very early risers right outside your door carrying on conversation like it was mid day out in a park to the bar closers stumbling in at 2:30am laughing and hooting & hollering. Not to mention the paper thin walls so you also get to enjoy the sounds of the next door neighbors getting frisky. I will never stay there again and will steer any and everyone away from this over priced hole of a hotel. After looking through the reviews I believe their posting as many good reviews as bad ones pop up to try to over ride them."

"One of my favorites marinas ever. Dockmaster Bill was awesome...and the town of Ocracoke is perfect for a 2 or 3 night stay. Lots to do and ur right in the middle of everything."

"I was traveling through the Outer Banks with a group of 13 Cyclist trekking from Norfolk to Savannah. Anchorage Inn was a pleasure to work with from the beginning when I made the initial reservation for 6 rooms. They went out of their to get all of us in rooms next to each other on the 2nd floor. The rooms were all neat, clean, well stocked with the basics and we had an excellent view of the water and docks across the street. Unfortunately upon arrival we learned the ferry we needed the next day to get to Cedar Island was cancelled! As we scrambled to make alternate arrangements to get our people and gear to our next destination Kara worked with us on a late checkout so we would have a place to keep our stuff while we acquired alternate transportation. Everyone at Anchorage Inn was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel for their service and plan to stay again the next time I visit Ocracoke."

"Room was a bit outdated but super clean and even the outdoor hallways smelled of cleaner. They took extra precautions to keep things safe (because of Covid) and it was evident. View from the room was beautiful (overlooking the harbor). Right across the street is a restaurant (which we liked so much, we ate at twice!) and golf cart rental place and 3/10 of a mile down is the ferry to get back to the mainland. We highly recommend and will be back."

"We booked a room for a night and planned to take the ferry the following morning. After finding out the ferry was cancelled the following morning, Kara Koziar, the manager, allowed us to cancel our reservation after we had already paid for the night. She issued a refund to our credit card. Really nice people, and we appreciate their willingness to help. Well done!"

"So recommend this! We visited on a not busy weekend and they made sure we got a great room with an awesome view. Front desk staff was so sweet and helpful. The marina staff was also amazing. Definitely recommend!! We will be back!"

"Love the Anchorage Inn! We have stayed there on several occasions! Clean rooms, friendly staff, great location in town for walking distance of many locations! Golf cart rentals across the street are available for Rent! Glad that it is pet friendly , because we can bring our dogs which are our babies! Great view of Silver Lake and pool on waters edge! Can catch the fish of the day at their Marina at 4pm on their dock daily! Wonderful place to stay! I would highly recommend!"
