It's within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. They have an outdoor pool right on the water and offer great food at sMac Nally's across the street."

"It was a wonderful hotel, the staff made this hotel more than just a hotel they were soooo friendly and accommodating. They truly went above and beyond. Our room was very clean EVERY day. The front desk was always so helpful. The views of the sound were gorgeous, my pictures do not do it justice. Overall it was wonderful I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying on Ocracoke Island!"

"Perfect location right in the middle of town with great views of Silver Lake and the harbor. Much thanks to Kelly who worked the front desk when we arrived, she was incredibly helpful and very resourceful. I came to the island to find the house my parents met in back in 1965. Fifteen minutes after checking in, she found the house for me. If only I could get that kind of response time at work! Would recommend hotel to anyone who wants to visit Ocracoke. One general tip for first-timers to the island: Make reservations BEFORE you get there!! There are only a few hotels at Ocracoke and you'd be amazed how fast they book up. I made my reservation in March and even the day before we arrived there were vacancies listed. 24-hours (and one tour bus of senior citizens) later, our hotel was full."

"Not a typical 5 star hotel, none the less, a great, clean, little hotel with great customer service. We needed to change rooms immediately because the people next to us were all outdoors smoking on the deck and we could not sit out there and enjoy our stay. The manager said absolutely no problem. I went downstairs and she had new keys waiting for us. Snapped a picture of their flag blowing in the wind and happened to catch a dragonfly with it. I would stay here again."

"Located just off the ferry on the left hand side. Prime location in the fact that your first in and first out when your done with your visit to Ocracoke. Some of the gift shops and restaurants are within walking distance and if you want an outside bar on the pier kind of experience, look no further than across the road! A couple other notes they do have a pool and grills for you to use. Super nice and friendly staff! There is a reason I always book their hotel everytime I venture back to paradise! Enjoy your stay!"
